It's warm, it's wild, it's free, it's Hong Kong. Living and working in HK's Manhattan - Central, where you can find all high-end brands, I am getting used to going through their expensive stores and magnificent window display on my way to work. This area contains the world's second biggest Amarni, Asia's second biggest Catier and whatever others I cannot name. Looking at these expensive toys made you want to make as much money as you can.

Speaking of money, HK has the most extrem salary distribution. A cleaning lady in a train station makes 16HKD/hr while over 100,000HKD/month for a senior financial professional (not me!!!). Commonly a fresh college graduate makes 10,000/month. Living cost, for me, is simply the same in US times 8 (the exchange rate). And it costs me 10,300/mon for a two bedroom apartment. How the hell do many local people survive? Another fact shocks me is the number of women with LV, Gucci purses/bags. On the other hand, I am perfectly happy with my faked Anna Sui wallet.

There's a lot to say but I don't know where to start. It IS very overwelming...more next time.
