My dear friend Jerry just got engaged w/ his girlfriend on their trip to Mexico. Abhi proposed to Di and their wedding will be in Nashville in September. Debbie and Ethan are about to tie the knot in Vermont in Sep as well. My brotherlike Pig3 and his long time girlfriend are getting married in October at Hangzhou. This is the lovely love season! For the first time in my life, I am going to weddings of my close friends (not just some relatives or parents' friends), and will be the bride's maid for at least one of them!! I am so happy and excited for them to find the couterpart of their hearts and are sharing love and ultimate trust with each other. I love you all and wish you all the best!

 

P.S. It's kinda tough to think I am going to lose them to their future little babies, though...

CNN-"Henry VIII is coming back to the throne. And this time, he's bloody gorgeous."

 

Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers stars as Henry VIII of England in showtime's 10-part miniseries "The Tudors". Henry VIII is infamous for his six wives and their misrable endding. Only two out of six outlived him. Two were divorced, two were executed, the last one widowed and one died from birthgiving to his only son King Edward VI. Among them, the most famous one is Anne Boleyn who is the mother of Queen Elizabeth I. She was sent into Tower of London and hung later on...Last time that I stayed in a hotel right next to the Tower Bridge and Tower of London, I didn't know all these stories and the prizoners, so sadly didn't pay my tribute.

 

Anyway Meyers is my favorite actor and I absolutely loved his movie "Match Point" and his acting. If you have seen the movie, you probably have the same question - how could a man be so evil and terrible yet we all love him? "Series full of sex and intrigue (and a good-looking Henry)", said CNN, "but it's all done to advance the story." You have to read more from CNN, Meyers sounds really funny when he talked about this show.

 

Two very very exciting events this summer! Pirates of Carribean III is to be released on May 24th all over the world. I cannot wait to see Captain Jack Sparrow again! Secondly, Harry Potter and the deathly hollows, the endding of the legendary and historical Harry potter series is to be published globally in July. I want to take one day off to read the whole thing! Although we all know evil won't last, the question is Harry Potter will be able to survive eventually? Dumbledore was killed in the 6th book. We cannot afford another unreplaceble lost. Please, J.K.Rowling...

 

 

I am listening to Mika and Jamie Cullum these days. Both are very talented musicians. Their styles are totally different though. Jamie Cullum is a truly Jazz singer/songwriter but does crossover all the time. Mika is ...I don't know, alternative pop/rock? Very unique though. His latest hit single Grace Kelly is on youtube.

 

This news is very disgusting. A guy in the states killed his ex-gf bcuz he loved her so much but she decieded not to be with him any more. Then he cut her body in pieces and burned them on his apartment building's patio grill. What a pervert!!
